Basketball Recap: King William Comes Up Short

King William lost against Middlesex back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The King William Cavaliers fell 51-42 to the Middlesex Chargers. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middlesex's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nielsen McMinn led the charge by putting up 15 points. Another player making a difference was JaQuan Griffin, who posted eight points.

King William's record now sits at 1-3. As for Middlesex, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King William will venture away from home to challenge Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middlesex, they will head out to take on Rappahannock at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
