Soccer Recap: Mishawaka Comes Up Short

Mishawaka lost against Concord back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cavemen came up short against the Minutemen, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Mishawaka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while Concord are ranked 14th).

Mishawaka has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Concord, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

Mishawaka will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Tippecanoe Valley at 7:00 p.m. Concord will be paying especially close attention to the Cavemen's match: after the Cavemen face off against the Vikings, they'll take on Concord again at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
