Sunset took a seven-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Jesuit, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Apollos sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Crusaders on Thursday.

Sunset pushed their record up to 6-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Jesuit, they now have a losing record of 3-4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunset is set to take on their familiar foe Mountainside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Jesuit will square off against rival Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
