Willows is 8-2 against Paradise since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Honkers will face off against the Bobcats at 3:00 p.m. Paradise took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Willows, who comes in off a win.
Willows headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Redding Christian let them put that streak behind them. The Honkers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 30-15 victory last Monday. The Honkers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Gianna Calonico, who got on base in five of her eight plate appearances with five runs, five RBI, and one triple. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Chelsea Perman was another key player, going 3-for-6 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple.
Willows kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Paradise lost 13-3 to Lassen on Saturday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Paradise saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Porter, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Willows' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Paradise, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Willows has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .445. However, it's not like Paradise struggles in that department as they've averaged .451. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Willows' way against Paradise in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as Willows made off with a 9-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Honkers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
