Volleyball Game Preview: Saratoga Falcons vs. Los Altos Eagles

The Saratoga Falcons will challenge the Los Altos Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Saratoga came up short against Mountain View and fell 3-1. The Falcons have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Los Altos earned a 3-1 win over Wilcox on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Los Altos walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 19-25, 25-21, 28-26.

Los Altos' win came from a few key players Saratoga will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Micah Ng, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave him a new career-high.

Los Altos' win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Saratoga, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-18.

Saratoga might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Los Altos when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
