Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline lost against Monarch back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coyotes. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Skyline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Knapp, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Another was Matt Lanier, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Monarch, their record is now 4-11.

Looking ahead, Skyline will welcome Fairview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monarch, they will head out to face off against Longmont at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
