Baseball Recap: Norcom Find Success

Norcom and Booker T. Washington pushed the score to 26-5 the last time they played Booker T. Washington, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Greyhounds didn't even let the Mighty Bookers on the board, marking the Greyhounds' second-straight 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 26-5 back in April.

The win got Norcom back to even at 5-5. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norcom will venture away from home to challenge Maury at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Commodores will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Greyhounds surely won't give up without a fight. As for Booker T. Washington, they will head out on the road to square off against Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
