Basketball Recap: William Cashman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tipton over Warsaw

Tipton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and the Warsaw Wildcats didn't end well, with the Tipton Cardinals falling 52-33. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Tipton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Cashman, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Bracht, who had six points.

Logan Gemes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Warsaw, going 6 for 14 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Henderson, who earned seven points and five boards.

Tipton's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Warsaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Tipton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-45 win against Macks Creek on the 14th. As for Warsaw, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Warsaw Wildcats take on the Green Ridge Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th.
