Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Sets Scoring Season-High Against Winchendon

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Andrew). They came out on top against the Winchendon Wapiti by a score of 67-55 on Sunday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

St. Andrew's got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zoe Knight out in front who posted 26 points. Knight continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Ryanne Sheehan was another key player, putting up 17 points.

St. Andrew's now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, St. Andrew's will square off against Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday. As for Winchendon, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Austin Prep at 3:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
