Community School of Davidson won the last time they faced Pine Lake Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Community School of Davidson Spartans were the clear victor by a 58-37 margin over the Pine Lake Prep Pride. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Community School of Davidson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aubrey Mccormick out in front who posted seven points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Those eight steals gave Mccormick a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Regan Downey, who earned 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Pine Lake Prep lost, don't look at Avery Garrett. Despite the final result, she had 13 points.

Community School of Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Pine Lake Prep, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Community School of Davidson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pine Lake Prep: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
