Baseball Recap: South Point Pointers vs. Russell Red Devils

South Point had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Russell Red Devils on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for South Point considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Brayden Hanshaw spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Rece Craft, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaine Freeman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

On Russell's side, Kyle Mokas put in work while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk).
