Basketball Recap: Winslow Bulldogs vs. Holbrook Roadrunners

Winslow was the 48-45 winner over Holbrook when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Winslow Bulldogs fell to the Holbrook Roadrunners 50-45. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Holbrook to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaron Becenti, who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave Becenti a new career-high. Tyler Tapaha was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Holbrook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
