Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

Jefferson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Maclay Marauders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marauders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Thursday.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Maclay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Jefferson County will host Rickards at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maclay, they will venture away from home to square off against Bolles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
