The Seaforth Hawks will challenge the Southeast Alamance Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Seaforth lost a heartbreaker the last time they played North Moore, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. Seaforth blew past North Moore 13-3 on Friday. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.

Emma Grace Hill made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Annika Johansson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Slough, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Seaforth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Moore only posted a batting average of .136.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast Alamance). They never let Bartlett Yancey get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Stallions considering their one-run performance the match before.
Like Seaforth, Southeast Alamance also got a great game from a two-way player: Brooke Hardister. Throwing, Hardister tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Tatum Shelton tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave her a new career-low. At bat, Hardister scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Shelton went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Shelton hit this season.
In other batting news, Katie Lloyd was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carlie Austin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Seaforth pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.2 runs. As for Southeast Alamance, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Seaforth has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .451. However, it's not like Southeast Alamance struggles in that department as they've averaged .434. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Seaforth came out on top in a nail-biter against Southeast Alamance in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 9-8. Does Seaforth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeast Alamance turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
