Volleyball Game Preview: Ridgeline Riverhawks vs. Dixie Flyers

The Ridgeline Riverhawks will take on the Dixie Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Ridgeline is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Green Canyon just ended the team's three-match winning streak two weeks ago. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0.

Ridgeline took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dixie walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Golden Eagles on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Ridgeline, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 19-8.

Ridgeline couldn't quite get it done against Dixie in their previous matchup back in October of 2018 as they fell 3-1. Can the Riverhawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
