Football Game Preview: Gold-Burg Bears vs. Northside Indians + How To Watch

Gold-Burg and Northside are an even 4-4 against one another since August of 2015, but not for long. The Bears will host the Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gold-Burg, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Northside's (thus far) undefeated season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-20, which was the final score in Gold-Burg's tilt against Victory Christian Academy last Friday.

While Northside didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 76-6 victory over Forestburg. Fans of the Indians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Gold-Burg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Northside, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Gold-Burg against Northside in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-22 victory. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
