Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Omak). It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 59-57 win from a begrudging Pioneers squad. Winning may never get old, but they sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Omak's record is now 5-2. As for Chelan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Omak won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lakeside at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Omak knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Lakeside likes a good challenge. As for Chelan, they will be home for the holidays to greet Cascade at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Cascade's defense has only allowed 28.7 points per game this season, so Chelan's offense will have their work cut out for them.
