The Sissonville Indians will take on the Huntington Highlanders at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sissonville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Sissonville was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Poca on Friday. The Indians put the hurt on the Dots with a sharp 16-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their two-run performance the game before.

Kinzee Hiinkley tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Allyson Jarrett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jayme Robinson, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Sissonville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Huntington was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 8-2 to Wahama.

Huntington has also been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season. As for Sissonville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-15.
