Baseball Recap: York Wildcats vs. Morse Shipbuilders
York's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Morse Shipbuilders. The Wildcats have beaten the Shipbuilders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Shipbuilders has come to flipping the script.
Jack Joyce made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Joyce was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Joyce is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
