Charlotte Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Charlotte Latin, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-2.

Charlotte Latin took their victory against Charlotte Christian in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
