Basketball Game Preview: Provo Bulldogs vs. Tooele Buffaloes + How To Watch

The Provo Bulldogs are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Tooele Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tooele took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Provo, who comes in off a win.

Tooele better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Provo's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Provo really gets things going. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 57-37 margin over Salem Hills. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Provo relied on the efforts of Asha Alletto, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds, and Valeria Martinez, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 16 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Alletto a new career-high in assists (four). Chante Tuilevuka was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Tooele was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 39-38 to Judge Memorial Catholic. The loss put an end to the Buffaloes' undefeated start to the season.

Provo's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tooele, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Provo against Tooele in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-35 win. In that game, the Bulldogs amassed a halftime lead of 38-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
