Basketball Recap: Ben Lomond Takes a Loss

Ben Lomond played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle, falling 69-41. The Scots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-18.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Taggart Bush and Kru Boyle, who each put up seven points. Cooper Pitcher held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

Deng Deng went supernova For Juan Diego Catholic., shooting 92% from the field en route to 24 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Javier Aguirre, who posted 11 points along with eight assists and five steals.

Ben Lomond is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Juan Diego Catholic, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
