Volleyball Recap: Limon Badgers vs. Byers Bulldogs

Limon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Byers Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Limon started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-14, 15-11.

Madison Witt paced Limon's offense, picking up 16 kills. Witt got some help from Braelyn Malcom and her 24 assists. Chloe Stone controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
