Basketball Game Preview: Norco Cougars vs. Rialto Knights

The Norco Cougars and the Rialto Knights will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norco is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5 points per game this season.

Norco is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Great Oak on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Norco was outmatched by Great Oak and fell 75-25. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Norco's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ryan Ibbetson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rialto). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Eisenhower 81-46.

Rialto now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Norco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.
