Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask City College). They really took it to the Green Street Academy Chargers for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-8 victory. The Black Knights pushed the score to 42-8 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers had no chance of recovering from.

The win got City College back to even at 4-4. As for Green Street Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Looking ahead, City College will be playing in front of their home fans against Poly at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Green Street Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Lake Clifton at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
