Football Game Preview: St. Joseph Lancers vs. Crivitz Wolverines

The St. Joseph Lancers will face off against the Crivitz Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

St. Joseph is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Palmyra-Eagle, posting a 55-6 victory. Considering the Lancers have won eight contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Zach Rizzo, who threw for 286 yards and four touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also punched in two rushing scores. Those 286 passing yards gave him a new career-high. St. Joseph's leading receiver Dominic Rinaldi was Rizzo's top target yet again, picking up 163 receiving yards and one score.

St. Joseph didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christopher Kenesie and Tyler Buttera.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last matchup, Crivitz made sure to put some points up on the board against Reedsville on Friday. The Wolverines enjoyed a cozy 42-27 win over the Panthers.

Crivitz's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.
