Basketball Recap: Clever Comes Up Short

If Clever was riding high fresh off their 64-31 takedown of Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clever Blue Jays were dealt a 71-32 defeat at the hands of the Kickapoo Chiefs on Friday. The Blue Jays were not able to make up for their loss to the Chiefs from their previous meeting back in December of 2019.

Clever's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Kickapoo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Clever wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-33 victory against Buffalo on the 28th. Kickapoo has also already played their next contest, a 49-36 win against Aurora on the 28th.
