Interlachen is 8-2 against Palatka since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Interlachen is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Interlachen lost 3-0 to Taylor on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered against the Wildcats since September 8, 2022.

Meanwhile, Palatka hadn't done well against St. Augustine recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Yellow Jackets. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Palatka got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 25-19, 17-25, 25-19.

Interlachen better keep an eye on Anslee Wells. She was instrumental in Palatka's win, getting 24 assists and four aces. Those 24 assists gave Wells a new career-high.

Palatka's record now sits at 11-14. As for Interlachen, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Interlachen suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Palatka when the teams last played back in August. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Wells, who had 17 digs and seven assists.
