Baseball Recap: Crestview's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Crestview waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Madison Central Indians. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Crestview saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Cantrell, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Cantrell has posted since back in February.

Crestview pushed their record up to 9-13 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Madison Central, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

Coming up, Crestview will be playing at home against South Walton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison Central, they will venture away from home to face off against Niceville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 3.8, the Eagles 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
