Football Game Preview: Toledo Boomers vs. Lowell Devils + How To Watch

The Toledo Boomers will square off against the Lowell Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Toledo took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 46-16 win over Monroe. The victory continues a trend for the Boomers in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, while Lowell put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Oakridge. The Devils blew past the Warriors 47-0.

Toledo's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lowell, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Toledo took a serious blow against Lowell in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, falling 56-14. Can the Boomers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
