Football Recap: McKinley Comes Up Short

McKinley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Brusly and fell 39-0. While losing is never fun, McKinley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Brusly is ranked 98th).

McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Brusly, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McKinley is set to face off against their familiar foe West Feliciana at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. Meanwhile, Brusly will take on rival St. Michael at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
