Baseball Recap: North Buncombe Takes a Loss

If North Buncombe was feeling good fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Enka on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Hawks lost 10-2 to the Jets on Thursday. The Black Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jets earlier this season, when they won 14-4.

North Buncombe saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Keenan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

North Buncombe dropped their record down to 13-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Enka, they moved to 6-15 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither North Buncombe nor the Jets have any future games scheduled.
