Football Recap: Almond-Bancroft Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Almond-Bancroft and Tri-County meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Eagles fell 22-14 to the Penguins. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Almond-Bancroft's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tri-County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Almond-Bancroft will take on Wild Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-County, they will challenge Rosholt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Penguins will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games.
