Basketball Recap: Rimrock Raiders vs. Notus Pirates
The Rimrock Raiders can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 48-20 victory over Notus. Winning may never get old, but Rimrock sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Despite the loss, Notus still got an impressive performance from Allison Grandeen, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and six blocks. Grandeen is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted three or more in the last four games she's played.
Rimrock pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Notus, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.
Rimrock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Notus will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
