Football Recap: Kellogg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kellogg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Anaconda Copperheads, falling 66-26.

Kellogg's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Porter Lewis, who threw for 203 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Andrew Lewis, who gained 149 total yards and two touchdowns. Andrew also rushed for 124 rushing yards, which is notable because the Wildcats are 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Anaconda, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, Kellogg will venture away from home to take on Grangeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Anaconda, they will welcome Florence-Carlton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
