Football Recap: Jacksonville Titans vs. DeWitt Dragons
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jacksonville). They walked away with a 28-20 win over the DeWitt Dragons on Friday. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 35-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Jacksonville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Ball out in front who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 45 receiving yards. Ball is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 133 every time he's taken the field this season. Another signal caller making a difference was Jaylon Foster, who threw for 133 yards and a pair of TDs.

Jacksonville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Lamyron Smith, Jordan Cole, and Darius Crockett picked up one apiece. With that strong performance, Cole is now averaging an impressive 6.8 total tackles per game.
