Softball Recap: United Takes a Loss

United was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-2 to the Conemaugh Township Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Tuesday.

Kenedi Fiochetta was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

United's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Conemaugh Township, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.

United does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Conemaugh Township, they will head out to take on Shade at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
