Basketball Recap: Arcola Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] last Friday, Arcola came back down to earth. The Arcola Purple Riders took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tuscola Warriors. The Purple Riders have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Arcola's loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-3. As for Tuscola, their victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Arcola will head out on the road to challenge Argenta-Oreana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscola, they will welcome Shelbyville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
