It was a good run, but McCallie unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 10-4 to the Chattanooga Christian Chargers. The Blue Tornado were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jake Copeland and Jerome Lehoux stepped up to the plate in a big way. Copeland went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Lehoux went 1-for-3 with one home run. Andrew Polen was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

McCallie's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Chattanooga Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6-1.

While McCallie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
