Traverse City West was the 30-13 winner over Mt. Pleasant when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans took a 27-8 bruising from the Oilers on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Oilers are ranked 11th).

Traverse City West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Traverse City West will challenge Bay City Western at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mt.
