Basketball Recap: Redfield Takes a Loss

Redfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 36-26 to the Britton-Hecla Braves. The Pheasants were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Redfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Britton-Hecla, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

When Redfield and Britton-Hecla next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Redfield will try to stop McLaughlin's three-game winning streak when the meet on Saturday. Similarly, Britton-Hecla will challenge Great Plains Lutheran and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
