Volleyball Recap: Harriton Has No Trouble Against Interboro

There's no place like home for Harriton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Interboro Buccaneers on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 25-16.

Harriton can attribute much of their success to Jana Loncarevic, who had ten assists and four aces. Those ten assists gave Loncarevic a new career-high. Whitney Odiorne also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Harriton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in four consecutive matches.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Interboro, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Harriton will host Lower Merion at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Interboro, they will head out to take on Sun Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
