Softball Recap: Roswell Comes Up Short

In Saturday's Canine Competition, Roswell didn't have enough. They lost 13-1 to the Artesia Bulldogs on Saturday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Roswell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alayna Tarin, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Roswell's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Artesia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Roswell by a score of 3-0 later that day.
