Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weaver). They never let the Saks Wildcats get on the board and left with a 26-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Weaver pushed their record up to 5-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Saks, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Weaver Bearcats take on Cedar Bluff Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Saks will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wellborn at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th.
