Parkersburg is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Marietta is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Big Reds will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Parkersburg is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Hurricane, who was ranked 11th at the time (Parkersburg was ranked 16th). The Big Reds took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redskins on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Parkersburg's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Marietta kept a clean sheet against Fairland on Saturday. They blew past the Dragons 12-0. The result was nothing new for Marietta, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Fairland from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal. Izzy Riggs led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Marietta's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Parkersburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
