Soccer Game Preview: Mason County vs. Rowan County

Mason County hasn't had much luck against Rowan County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Mason County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over St. Patrick. Mason County haven't had any issues with St. Patrick recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Rowan County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Menifee County on Thursday. They blew past the Wildcats 7-0. Considering Rowan County have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Rowan County's win bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Mason County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
