Soccer Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Bishop Mcguinness + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ragsdale, Bishop McGuinness was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the Forbush Falcons 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given Bishop McGuinness' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 187th, while Forbush are ranked 42nd).

Michael Murphy and Arturo Zavala scored both of Bishop McGuinness' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Bishop McGuinness' victory bumped their record up to 2-3-2. As for Forbush, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop McGuinness will host West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Forbush, they will take on Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
