Basketball Recap: West Carter Comes Up Short

West Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 62-30 defeat at the hands of the Rowan County Vikings. Having soared to a lofty 58 points in the game before, the Comets couldn't push the score so high this time.

West Carter's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Rowan County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Coming up, West Carter will host Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rowan County, they will head out to take on Blazer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blazer will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Rowan County surely won't give up without a fight.
