Volleyball Recap: Plainfield North Comes Up Short

Plainfield North lost against Bolingbrook back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Plainfield North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-17, 25-16.

Plainfield North has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Bolingbrook, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Plainfield North is set to challenge their familiar foe Plainfield South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bolingbrook will face off against rival Minooka at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
