Leilehua came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Waipahu Marauders get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 7-1 victory on April 2nd.

Leilehua's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Waipahu, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.
